NORTH BENGAL RURAL DEVELOPMENT SANGSTHA (NBRDS) intends to implement its policy of overall development of the helpless, poor and ultra-poor people of the grassroots level, specially, of the distressed, under-privileged, disengaged and vulnerable women through creating a critical awareness of women’s equity, leadership and empowerment, health, education, living style, income generating activities and all fundamental rights with a view to institutionalizing a civil and democratic society.

North Bengal Rural Development Sangstha (NBRDS)Regi No-NGO Affairs Bureau1837 has been established on January 02, 1992 by a group of dedicated social workers having a glorious background of performing a lot of voluntary activities of the society in Nageswari region led by Md. Kazim Uddin, an honest, sincere, punctual and hard working young man who has been nominated as the Secretary General as well as the Executive Director of the organization. Since the commencement of the organization, it has been introducing many a projects and implementing these ones with praiseworthy and fruitful achievements as per the opinions of the stakeholders and donors and the local people.
